Legal Profession

Core principles of legal profession for the world has emerged to respond to the principles of  liberal democracy.

Michael S. Greco, a partner in the Boston office of Kirkpatrick and lockhart Nicholson Graham, LLP, is a 129 of president of the largest Voluntary Bar Association in the world. He became the president in last summer August, 2005. He proposed principles of legal profession for the world when he was representing American lawyers and judges in the conference of the world Bar Association in November 2005, in Paris.

Statement of core principles of legal profession

Legal profession throughout the world in the interest of the public is committed through these core principles:

1. An independent, an impartical judicairy without which the rule of law cannot exist.

2. An independent legal profession without which the rule of law or freedom for the people cannot exist.

3. Access to justice for all people throughout the world which is only possible with an independent and impartial judiciary and an independent legal profession. And that these core principles shall not yield to any emegency of the moment.

This statement was unanimously adopted in Paris and translated to French and Spanich after the conference finished, also it was adopted unanimously by the American bar association in Chicago and many bar associations around the world.
